AMS, a global leader in talent solutions and recruitment consulting, is seeking a Talent Acquisition – Sourcing Specialist to join its team in Toronto, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and managing top-tier candidates for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing client. This is a hybrid opportunity requiring one day per week onsite in North York.

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will execute sourcing strategies and hiring plans in collaboration with hiring managers, ensuring recruitment delivery meets contractual obligations and service-level agreements. You will utilize data-driven insights, historical hiring trends, and proactive sourcing techniques across job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks to identify both active and passive candidates. Additionally, you will review and screen candidates, build quality shortlists, guide hiring managers through the interview process, and deliver a seamless candidate experience.

Key responsibilities include managing candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs, driving hiring decisions, overseeing offer processes, and maintaining compliance with recruitment policies and legislation. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders—including talent sourcing, insights, and administration teams—to ensure smooth client and candidate engagement.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, alongside the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have proven experience in talent sourcing, market mapping, and passive candidate engagement, with strong proficiency in MS Office and digital sourcing tools. Experience within manufacturing recruitment and knowledge of local Toronto/GTA labor markets will be considered an asset.
