Social Media Training Specialist

Description:

Formation SAMO, a well-established professional training organization operating in Repentigny since 1989, is seeking a passionate and experienced Web Development and Social Media Training Specialist. This hybrid role offers a flexible schedule with part-time hours (20 hours/week), with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role (40 hours/week), depending on availability and organizational needs.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical proficiency in both web programming and digital content creation, along with practical experience in social media management and digital marketing strategies. The role also requires the ability to deliver training effectively, ideally with a background in adult education.

Key Responsibilities:

The specialist will be responsible for training learners in the following areas:

• Web Programming:

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP

• Dynamic WordPress Website Creation:

  • With or without WooCommerce integration

• Graphic Design for Web:

  • Tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe Photoshop

• Social Media Management:

  • Strategy development, tools, campaign planning, paid advertisements (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)

• Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

  • Best practices and integration with broader digital marketing efforts

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Deep passion for web technologies and digital communication

• Comfortable with both web development and design-oriented tools

• Hands-on experience in web programming and site creation

• Demonstrated knowledge in social media strategy and SEO

• Previous experience in teaching or training adult learners is highly desirable

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a hybrid work setting
