Position Overview:
Geoterra IRS is looking for experienced Silviculture Supervisors to join their dynamic team. This full-time, permanent role offers location flexibility within Kimberly, Prince George, or Fort St. John, BC. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate silviculture programs across diverse land ownerships and project types including post-harvest areas, oil and gas sites, and reforestation projects. The role suits an accredited silviculture surveyor capable of independent work and team supervision in both field and office environments. Proficiency with SNAP! and Plant Wizard software is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead planning and on-site execution of silviculture projects and surveys
Supervise and mentor junior silviculture and forestry staff
Perform and verify silviculture surveys aligned with provincial standards
Accurately use SNAP! and Plant Wizard software for data collection and submission
Manage logistics, resources, and reporting across multiple active projects
Maintain data integrity and ensure regulatory compliance
Liaise effectively with clients, government officials, and Indigenous partners as needed
Qualifications:
Required accreditation as an Accredited Silviculture Surveyor
Required experience with SNAP! and Plant Wizard software
Minimum 2 years of direct silviculture operations experience
Preferred: Registration as a Forest Technologist (RFT) or Professional Forester (RPF) with ABCFP
Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license required
Level 1 First Aid certification and ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven ability to lead field crews safely
