Service Now Consultant

Description:

RSM Canada, a leading provider of professional services to the middle market, is seeking a ServiceNow Consultant to join their team in Edmonton. The consultant will work with businesses across industries to implement the ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) application suite. The role involves close collaboration with clients, technicians, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure optimal ServiceNow configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and document ServiceNow SPM client implementations.

• Lead design workshops with clients and RSM subject matter experts.

• Provide expertise on project, portfolio, and agile management best practices.

• Design business processes to meet client goals.

• Document functional designs, process flows, and user stories; gather feedback to influence solution design.

• Evaluate and optimize project and portfolio management processes.

• Work with technical teams to troubleshoot ServiceNow modules and design enhancements.

• Lead delivery of SPM technical solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and best practices.

• Mentor team members on ServiceNow platform best practices.

• Respond to RFIs/RFPs and participate in client presentations.

• Travel up to 20% as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years IT consulting experience; 5+ years project portfolio management experience.

• Full life cycle COTS implementation experience.

• Strong oral and written communication skills; collaborative team player.

• Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word.

• Core competencies: business analysis, project management, business process evaluation, organizational change management.

• Technical and data analytical skills, problem-solving aptitude.

• Preferred: 3+ years ServiceNow experience, agile SDLC experience, ServiceNow CSA/CIS certifications, PMP or Prince certification.
