Our client is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join a growing quantitative and financial research team supporting organizations across financial services, banking, and insurance.
This is an opportunity to work on high-impact data science initiatives involving credit risk, automated decision-making, pricing, underwriting, statistical modeling, and machine learning.

🔹 What You’ll Be Doing
• Develop and enhance automated loan adjudication models
• Refine predictive credit risk models using advanced statistical and ML techniques• Expand pricing and underwriting models across the lending process
• Research and develop models that create measurable business value
• Identify new data science and business innovation opportunities
• Work directly with business stakeholders to turn analysis into real-world decisions
• Communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences

🔹What We’re Looking For
• Several years of professional Data Science experience
• Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Strong experience with R, Python, Stata, MATLAB, SQL, or similar tools
• Experience with large-scale statistical analysis and quantitative modeling
• Ability to work with complex, real-world data and processes
• Strong business focus and analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Machine learning implementation experience
• Finance or insurance industry experience
• Data pipeline experience
• Previous management or team lead experience
• Experience with credit risk, underwriting, pricing, or automated decision-making
