Service Leader

Description:

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to maintain a positive customer experience, ensure safe and high-quality food preparation, and support the restaurant crew’s performance and development. This role is essential in creating a smooth operational environment and promoting Chipotle’s mission of serving responsibly sourced, real food.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure high-quality, great-tasting food is served.

• Resolve food quality issues and customer incidents to guarantee positive experiences.

• Support food safety by monitoring hand washing, glove changes, line temperatures, and shelf lives, and ensuring compliance with the Daily Food Safety Checklist.

• Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, meetings, and schedules.

• Develop, train, and cross-train front-of-house crew.

• Assist in crew performance reviews and develop future Service Leaders.

• Perform office administration duties such as banking, cash handling, and paperwork.

• Maintain office equipment and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.

Requirements:

• High school diploma.

• Restaurant experience.

• Open availability at least four days per week, including at least two from Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

• Ability to work a minimum of 32 hours per week.

• Knowledge of food safety, cash handling, and office procedures.

• Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language(s) of the work location.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding and ability to articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

• Leadership and crew management skills.
