Description:
The candidate is responsible for managing forecasting and promotional spend for Samsung, for assigned accounts to ensure the division is on track to achieve targets. The candidate will work closely with Product Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain functions to complete PSI simulations, promotion proposals, ROI analysis, product launches, budget requests, and to collect market intelligence to build a competitive analysis to drive business decisions.
Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Weekly Checkbook management (by Channel) to proactively review forecast, budgeting, promotional activities, flyer plans, ROI analysis, run rate analysis, etc. to optimize sell-out.
- Spending (accrual) management by channel for optimal sales/promotion planning managed through CORES system. Helping drive profit through high ROI activities. Contribute to Quarterly Business Review with simulated following quarter P/L.
- Weekly competitive intelligence gathering at account level. Ex: pricing execution, run rate by model, promotional execution, and competitive intelligence/execution. To feed intelligence back to division for contingency promotion planning and to maintain competitiveness in the channels.
- Weekly PSI meetings to ensure accurate demand planning. Forecast review to proactively monitor run rates and spending plans.
- Management of regional SPIFF program to drive regional market growth. Ensuring our SPIFFS are at maximum competitiveness and within budget. Gathering market intelligence and sharing within the division to ensure there is a focused strategy with attention on profit driving activities.

Qualifications Qualifications
- Must be able to work on site / in office.
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technical subjects required.
Knowledge :
- Advanced excel knowledge.
- Advanced Microsoft office skills. Proficient in access and PowerPoint.
- Fundamental understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
- Detail oriented and highly organized.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Experience :
- Work experience in Supply Chain or Financial Analysis is a definite asset.
- 3+ years of experience preferred.
- This role requires strong multitasking skills to accommodate the fast-paced. environment – candidate must be able to deliver in short turnaround time, while maintaining professionalism and flexibility.
