Description:
Live Nation Entertainment, through Ticketmaster NA, is seeking a Senior Software Developer for the TM1 Events team. In this role, you will develop a B2B application for creating and managing events sold on the Ticketmaster platform. You will actively participate in the overall solution design and system architecture, developing components and complete applications while leveraging your technical expertise to propose innovative solutions.
You will work autonomously, support colleagues globally, and iteratively improve the TM1 Events application using best practices, modern integrations, and DevOps methodologies. You will mentor junior colleagues, collaborate closely with product managers, and ensure end-to-end delivery of new features, including testing and production support.
Responsibilities include:
Design and develop a secure, stable, and high-performance application.
Influence architecture for simplicity, scalability, maintainability, reliability, and security.
Plan stories and iterations to meet product objectives.
Mentor and motivate colleagues while managing team performance.
Support external teams integrating with your services.
Promote and document best practices for integration teams.
Develop micro-frontends using React/Angular, TypeScript, and Java Spring Boot.
Deploy services on AWS and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with product and UX managers on feature development.
Modernize legacy components and services.
Automate tests, deployments, resilience, and monitoring.
Participate in production support rotations.
Technical Skills & Requirements:
Strong frontend development skills (Angular, React, JavaScript, TypeScript)
Backend development and API experience
SOLID principles and design patterns
Experience with distributed applications, micro-frontends, and legacy systems
DevOps, CI/CD, and monitoring in production
Java, Spring Boot, Maven, Gitlab CI
Experience with at least one database (Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Bilingual: French and English
Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills
