Senior Physical Damage Claims Adjuster

Echelon Insurance, part of the CAA Club Group of Companies (CCG), is seeking an experienced Senior Physical Damage Adjuster to join their dynamic claims team based in Vaughan, Ontario. This full-time hybrid role offers the opportunity to work with a respected Property & Casualty insurance company known for its award-winning, purpose-driven culture.

As a Senior Physical Damage Adjuster, you will be responsible for handling mid to high complexity automobile and third-party property damage claims. This includes managing the entire lifecycle of a claim—from investigation and evaluation to negotiation and settlement. The role requires active coordination with various stakeholders including appraisers, body shops, third-party claimants, and vendors.

You will be evaluating liability, determining coverage (including complex scenarios like theft recoveries and out-of-province claims), and assessing subrogation potential. Your ability to set and manage reserves and settle claims accurately within your authority level is critical to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations of complex physical damage claims

• Collaborate with internal and external partners: appraisers, adjusters, vendors, third-party claimants, and repair facilities

• Evaluate coverage, liability, and subrogation potential

• Determine appropriate settlement strategies and manage reserve amounts

• Resolve claims efficiently while maintaining superior customer service and policyholder satisfaction

• Ensure compliance with all internal processes and industry standards

What You Bring:

• Post-secondary education (required)

• 3–5 years of experience handling auto/property claims

• 2–3 years of proven customer service experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organization, time management, and multi-tasking ability

• Customer-focused mindset with a drive for results

• Ability to handle sensitive claim matters with professionalism and discretion
