Senior Manager

Description:

Deloitte is seeking a Manager / Senior Manager for Property Tax to join their team in Canada. This role focuses on providing exceptional property tax consulting services to national and global clients, while also supporting the growth of Deloitte’s property tax team. You will work collaboratively across the firm with tax, audit, financial advisory, and consulting service lines to provide integrated solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on property tax engagements with clients across multiple industries.

• Lead and contribute to the lifecycle of property assessment consulting and appeal services.

• Support the growth and leadership of the property tax team in Canada.

• Work with colleagues across the country and in the US to deliver integrated services.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, enhancing client relationships and experience.

• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members.

• Build business, identify operational efficiencies, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

• College or University degree; 7+ years of property tax consulting experience preferred.

• Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in property tax consulting.

• Accredited or Candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada or Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors preferred.

• Superior verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong client service and relationship management skills.

• Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, deadline-driven, and capable of independent work.

• Bilingual in French and English due to national and international client interactions.
