Senior Manager

Description:

As a Senior Manager in Governance & Risk (Enterprise Risk), you will work with clients to address challenges in risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance effectiveness. You will lead projects, develop proposals, manage teams, and position yourself as a Subject Matter Expert in non-financial risk areas such as strategic risk, geopolitical risk, reputation risk, and operational risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead advisory projects in risk management, compliance, and governance.

• Develop proposals and pursue business development opportunities.

• Build relationships with senior client stakeholders.

• Coach and manage junior team members.

• Conduct risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning.

• Enhance clients’ risk capabilities and close gaps in their current frameworks.

• Deliver both local Western Canadian projects and national/international engagements.

• Create white papers, points of view, and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years in risk management (consulting or industry), preferably with international consulting exposure.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Law, Engineering, Organizational Psychology, or related field; MBA preferred.

• Functional experience in compliance and conduct risk management (mandatory).

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet deadlines.

• Willingness to travel for client engagements.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: CA$126K – CA$234K + Bonus Program.
