Deloitte Canada is seeking a Senior Manager for the Data Products Portfolio within its Global Transformation division. This position plays a pivotal leadership role in developing, managing, and scaling Deloitte’s global data products and platforms under the newly established Data Strategy & Governance Office (DSGO). The successful candidate will drive strategic initiatives that enhance the firm’s internal data capabilities, ensuring alignment with global business objectives and emerging technology trends.
The role involves leading the full product lifecycle — from conceptualization and design to deployment and adoption. You will collaborate across various Deloitte member firms, working closely with technology, operations, and leadership teams to align strategic data goals and ensure robust data governance practices.
Lead the development and deployment of new data products and services across the Deloitte network, ensuring alignment with firm-wide strategic objectives.
Create and execute product and service roadmaps, identifying geo-specific opportunities and ensuring adaptability to evolving technologies.
Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis, monitoring vendor offerings, innovation trends, and external data landscape.
Drive successful product adoption by resolving operational issues, implementing change management strategies, and maintaining post-launch support systems.
Oversee financial models and recovery processes, including chargeback and cost-transfer methods in coordination with Finance.
Track performance metrics for all data products and services, report progress, and address areas requiring improvement.
Manage cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery, quality assurance, and compliance with organizational data governance frameworks.
The Data Strategy & Governance Office (DSGO) at Deloitte Global is tasked with creating a unified strategy and operating model for managing global data throughout its lifecycle. The team drives innovation, ensures data integrity, and supports the firm’s mission to serve clients more effectively through enhanced data-driven solutions. DSGO reports directly to the Chief Transformation Officer.
10+ years’ experience leading data or digital product portfolios in large, complex organizations.
Strong expertise in data strategy, digital transformation, and product management including product design, backlog prioritization, and roadmap development.
Proven success in executing transformation initiatives with diverse stakeholder groups across executive and operational levels.
Strong analytical skills for developing and managing performance metrics — operational, financial, and product-based.
Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Informatica IDMC, Microsoft Co-Pilot, and data visualization tools.
Familiarity with AI and large language model (LLM)-based product development (e.g., Llama, PaLM) preferred.
