Felicitas Private Equity Canada ULC — a subsidiary of Felicitas Global Partners, LLC (collectively “Felicitas”) — is a private markets credit investment firm headquartered in Pasadena, California, with a presence in Toronto, Canada. Felicitas was founded in 2012, and manages approximately US$894 million through pooled investment funds, serving a client base of prominent institutional investors located primarily within the United States.
Felicitas fosters a culture committed to excellence, collaboration, and efficiency. We are looking to hire an Analyst and/or Senior Investment Analyst to contribute to that culture while working on a wide variety of transaction types in the fast-growing world of NAV Lending and Credit Secondaries.
This role is a hybrid position, requiring the successful candidate to be comfortable with working both in the office and remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of a range of secondaries investment opportunities with a focus on NAV Lending and Secondaries
- Prepare detailed investment write-ups on investment recommendations
- Conduct meetings and calls with prospective and existing sellers, managers, and intermediaries
- Produce and maintain marketing materials using MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Monitor and track investments’ performance in Excel and various software programs
- Assist with the transaction execution/closing process
- Assist with generating quarterly investor reporting packages and valuations
- Assist with ad-hoc and administrative projects as needed
Job Requirements:
- 0-2 years of work experience in investment banking, corporate development, or private markets (private equity, private credit, private real estate, etc.)
- Completion of a bachelor’s degree and a strong portfolio of work to demonstrate interest in and knowledge of financial markets
- Strong final year GPA
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
- Team player with an ability to collaborate and build strong relationships
- High proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong motivation to learn and progress your career in the private markets industry
