Description:
Mercer, a business of Marsh McLennan, is seeking a Senior Health & Benefits Consultant to join their Health & Benefits Consulting Practice in Winnipeg. This role involves leading complex client engagements, developing innovative benefits strategies, and mentoring a team of professionals. The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the Winnipeg office.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead complex client engagements including service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewal, business placement, benchmarking, and other studies
Develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies to address complex client issues
Define full scope of services for clients and set roles/responsibilities within the client team
Communicate Mercer’s position on latest industry trends to clients
Ensure revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects
Monitor project success in terms of scope, budget, timeliness, and client satisfaction
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience in health and benefits consulting with strong client management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategic solutions for complex client issues
Experience generating sales, expanding revenues from existing clients, and leading prospecting for new clients is a plus
Previous experience mentoring and coaching team members
