Senior Fund Accountant

Description:

SS&C Technologies, a leading financial services and healthcare technology company with over 27,000 employees across 35 countries, is seeking a highly skilled Private Equity Senior Fund Accountant to join their team in Kitchener, ON on a hybrid work model. In this role, you will maintain all financial data in the investment database, post journal entries, and prepare monthly trial balance reports. You will reconcile cash received from investors and investments, manage bank account reconciliations, calculate capital calls and distributions, and allocate income to partners per partnership agreements. Additionally, you will prepare and issue monthly/quarterly financial reports, maintain detailed investment data, manage client relationships, and assist with onboarding new clients and special projects.

Candidates must hold a post-secondary degree (Accounting or Finance preferred); CPA and/or MBA qualifications are highly desirable. You should have strong knowledge of Bloomberg, financial reporting, and various financial products (equities, futures, fixed income). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong organizational capabilities, client relationship management expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Prior experience in training and delegating tasks is considered a plus.
