Description:
We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join a leading, dynamic, publicly traded company based in Dorval. This strategic financial role is crucial in guiding the company’s financial planning and analysis team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in FP&A, a strong background in financial analysis and reporting, and excellent proficiency in financial modeling. The role offers a hybrid work model, providing a balance between office and remote work.
As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. You will analyze financial performance, create and maintain financial models, and participate in key management discussions. You will work closely with senior management to provide insights and actionable recommendations for business decisions. Additionally, the role will involve driving continuous improvements in financial reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the processes for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Perform in-depth financial analysis and variance reporting.
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making.
Participate in quarterly management discussions and collaborate with leadership.
Prepare and support management reports and presentations.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial data.
Conduct profitability analysis for various business units.
Drive process improvements in financial reporting and analysis.
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
CPA in progress is considered a valuable asset.
5+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis.
Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, data analysis).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working in a public company is a strong asset.
