Senior Consultant

 

Description:

As a Senior Consultant within our Analytics practice, you will collaborate closely with practitioners across Audit & Assurance (A&A) to elevate the use of analytics in client service delivery. You will contribute to the design and development of data-driven solutions that unlock insights from complex datasets and support more informed decision-making.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:
 

  • Partner with engagement teams and clients to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable analytical solutions
  • Design and develop analytics assets and tools leveraging advanced technologies, including data automation, visualization, and emerging AI capabilities
  • Bridge the gap between business and technology, providing advisory support on data requirements, analytical approaches, and solution design
  • Develop and deploy analytics solutions using programming, visualization, and database tools, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned to stakeholder needs
  • Communicate insights and findings effectively, tailoring messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives, including the development of reusable analytics assets and experimentation with new tools, methodologies, and AI-enabled capabilities
  • Guide and mentor Consultants, supporting their technical development, reviewing deliverables and fostering a strong learning environment within the team

Requirements
 

  • 2–3+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, data science, or data visualization, with exposure to business or audit analytics considered an asset
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytics tools and programming languages, such as Python, SQL, and Alteryx, with the ability to apply these tools in a client-service environment
  • Experience developing data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker with a focus on communicating insights effectively
  • Exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities, including the development or application of AI use cases, automation solutions, or AI agents, is considered an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a passion for leveraging data and technology to drive insights and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development, including exploration and adoption of new tools, technologies, and methodologies
  • Highly adaptive and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment, with a positive attitude towards change and innovation
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outputs within defined timelines
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities (French and/or Spanish) are considered an asset
