Deloitte Canada is seeking talented and experienced Senior Consultants – SAP SuccessFactors Payroll for future opportunities within its Operate practice. This role is designed for SAP professionals who excel in client service, technical delivery, and leadership within complex Human Capital Management (HCM) environments.

As a Senior Consultant, you will oversee the SAP SuccessFactors Payroll workstream, leading implementations, support, and optimization projects for Deloitte’s diverse client base. You will collaborate with clients across Canada to identify payroll-related challenges, propose solutions, and deliver robust, efficient, and compliant systems that streamline HR and payroll processes.

You will play a central role in configuring, testing, and documenting payroll systems while guiding junior consultants and ensuring high-quality outcomes. The position combines deep technical expertise with strong communication and leadership skills, providing opportunities to work in a flexible hybrid environment within Deloitte’s global network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the SAP SuccessFactors Payroll workstream, ensuring accurate and efficient implementation and support.

• Configure and test SAP Payroll systems (ECC, S/4HANA, or Employee Central Payroll) to meet client requirements.

• Integrate SAP Payroll with other SAP modules and third-party applications.

• Identify system inefficiencies and develop strategic improvement plans.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and technical team members.

• Collaborate closely with Deloitte’s cross-functional consulting teams and client stakeholders to achieve project goals.

• Ensure compliance with Canadian payroll standards, data security regulations, and Deloitte’s quality benchmarks.

• Support clients with post-implementation optimization, enhancements, and managed services delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting SAP Payroll solutions (ECC, S/4HANA, or SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll).

• Proven experience with SAP Payroll interfaces, integrations, and data management.

• Certification in SAP/Employee Central Payroll with at least 3 full-cycle implementations completed.

• Preferred experience with SAP Benefits Management, HR Core, and Time Management.

• Strong leadership, analytical, and client relationship management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication; bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset.

• Proactive problem-solver with the ability to manage risks and mentor junior team members.
