Senior Civil Designer

Fluid Projects is a consultancy based in Calgary, AB that focuses on finding practical solutions to water challenges in the Energy Industry. We invest in relationships first which enables us to work collaboratively with clients to navigate the complex and ever-changing landscape surrounding the permitting, storage, reuse, and disposal of water and wastewater. 

As a Designer within our dynamic company, RESPONSIBILITIES will include:

• Producing detailed civil engineering design drawings for industrial infrastructure projects
• Preparing design models, grading plans, alignments, profiles, and construction details using AutoCad Civil 3D
• Developing and editing complex terrain models and topographic surfaces
• Supporting project managers with quality control
• Assisting in quantity take-offs and cost estimations by extracting data from CAD models
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, constructible design solutions
• Communicating with internal teams to ensure project expectations are met

REQUIREMENTS

·      Minimum 5 years applicable experience in industry

·      Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D

·      Preferably registered member of ASET

·      Excellent English communication skills
