Senior Associate Auditor

Description:

We are looking for qualified auditors interested in the Cayman Islands (Caribbean). We have a number of exciting roles available starting in January 2024.

You will work on a number of audit engagements, either in asset management (funds) and/or insurance and be in-charge of the audit file from planning through to completion, including a first review of the financial statements prior to the manager’s review. Reporting to the firm’s managers, directors and partners, you will get hands on experience learning from seasoned professionals in the asset management and insurance sector.

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• In-charge of/completing the audit file from planning through to completion.
• Preparing detailed audit work of various investment structures and related vehicles; or insurance entities.
• Performing a first review of the financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• In-charging multiple audit engagements.
• Researching accounting and regulatory issues
• Corresponding professionally with clients and service providers.
• Ensuring engagements are delivered on time and within budget.
