Description:
CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Analyst, End-User Technology to join their Technology & Infrastructure (T&I) team. This team is at the forefront of modernizing the public broadcaster's infrastructure, enabling a transformation into a next-generation digital media company. This permanent, full-time hybrid role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, problem-solving environment where you will be instrumental in managing end-user technologies and participating in strategic digital workspace transformation efforts.
The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager of the Center of Expertise and work closely with a team of professionals managing the organization's workstations and mobile device ecosystems. The role requires a strategic thinker capable of enhancing end-user technology management solutions while applying best practices to support evolving cloud-based environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize performance of SCCM/Intune-based deployment and update management systems
Support operations and lifecycle management of end-user technology systems
Administer endpoint services such as print management, remote assistance, and softphone tools
Monitor and maintain endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions
Ensure secure, stable operation of user technology infrastructure
Analyze corporate IT initiatives and recommend strategic improvements
Develop and enforce IT standards for user technology systems
Contribute to the evolution of technology and system reliability
Collaborate with T&I colleagues to refine departmental workflows
What You Bring:
University degree or college diploma in computer science or equivalent
At least 5 years of related experience
Strong technical expertise with PC, Mac, and mobile operating systems
Enterprise-level device management experience (SCCM, Intune, JamF)
Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Google Apps Script)
Working knowledge of EDR platforms (Crowdstrike, Sentinel, Defender)
Familiarity with DaaS/cloud solutions (AVD, W365, AWS, Google)
Understanding of remote support and print management technologies
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure with high-demand workloads
