The Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting role offers a unique opportunity to shape and strengthen Samsara’s financial reporting and compliance practices while working with a world-class accounting and finance team. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage SEC filings such as Form 10-Qs, 10-Ks, 8-Ks, and annual proxy statements.

• Develop consolidated financial statements and disclosures for a fast-growing tech company.

• Conduct flux analyses to understand business performance and draft insightful MD&A reports.

• Perform technical accounting research under US GAAP, documenting accounting whitepapers and benchmarking industry standards.

• Manage stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718, including valuation and disclosures.

• Collaborate with local accounting teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.

• Support SOX compliance, deployment of accounting policies, and internal control documentation.

• Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of reviews and annual audits.

• Prepare executive-level presentations for management and the Audit Committee.

• Participate in special projects and strategic financial initiatives to improve reporting systems and processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• CPA license is mandatory.

• At least 4 years of professional accounting experience (with a minimum of 2 years in a public accounting firm).

• Strong understanding of US GAAP, accounting processes, and SOX requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ASC 718, Workiva SEC Reporting Solution, iXBRL, NetSuite, or Schwab EquiView.

• Experience in technology or IPO environments.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet strict deadlines, and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting standards.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

• High attention to detail, strong organization, and a proactive “can-do” attitude.
