Deloitte, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, is currently hiring a Senior Accountant, Audit Public for its Vancouver, BC office. This permanent, full-time role is part of Deloitte's highly specialized Audit team that provides assurance services for publicly traded companies under IFRS and PCAOB standards.

In this role, you’ll work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, alongside leading professionals in their fields. You will be involved in high-profile assignments, both domestically and internationally, helping clients navigate complex audit requirements while developing solutions through critical thinking and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and lead audits in accordance with IFRS and PCAOB standards for publicly listed clients

• Analyze and test internal controls, financial statements, and risk exposures

• Collaborate closely with team members and clients to develop innovative audit strategies

• Manage client engagements, timelines, and team resources effectively

• Support junior staff through mentorship and training

• Participate in client presentations, report drafting, and executive-level reviews

• Maintain compliance with professional standards, firm policies, and ethical regulations
