Finance Manager

We’re hiring: Finance Manager, Greater Vancouver (office in Port Coquitlam)

Dulex Construction works only on tenant improvements: office, retail, medical and industrial build-outs across Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. We’re planning to grow project revenue significantly over the next 12–24 months, and we need a Finance Manager to keep the financial side of that growth tight.

This role is for someone who wants to build and run a finance function, not just maintain the books. You’ll work directly with the owner as a trusted partner on decisions that shape the business.

What you’ll own:
• Full-cycle accounting, payroll, and month-end and year-end close
• Progress billing, change orders and holdbacks under the BC Builders Lien Act
• Job costing, monthly WIP schedules and project profitability reporting
• Cash flow forecasting, budgeting, banking, bonding and insurance
• Systems and controls that let finance grow from one person into a team

What you bring:
• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, including construction or project-based work
• Hands-on experience with progress billing, holdbacks, job costing and WIP
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax, payroll and remittances
• Advanced Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Sage or similar)
• Nice to have: a CPA (or progress toward one), general contractor or tenant improvement experience
