Sales Representative

Description:

A leading organization in the mining industry is looking to hire a results-driven and highly motivated Sales Representative in Toronto, ON, for a full-time, on-site position. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and account development to closing deals and maintaining client relationships. This role is ideal for someone with extensive field sales experience and a strong background in mining sector solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire B2B sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the mining industry.

• Generate and qualify new business opportunities, focusing on solution-based selling.

• Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.

• Visit client sites regularly, maintaining a strong presence and building trust.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth client onboarding and support experience.

• Maintain accurate sales records and forecasting in CRM systems.

• Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics within the mining sector.

Required Qualifications & Must-Haves:

• Proven experience in full sales cycle – from lead generation to closing.

• Background in the mining sector – essential.

• Hands-on field sales experience, preferably in industrial, heavy equipment, or mining services/products.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

• Demonstrated experience in developing new accounts and solution-based selling in structured corporate environments.

• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

• Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools.

• Technical understanding of mining products, equipment, or technologies is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: CAD 87,000/year (CAD 7,250/month).

• Additional incentives or commission structure may be available (not specified).
