Description:

DLF North America, a division of the global DLF Group, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Director (Agronomist) for the Eastern Quebec region. This is a full-time leadership position based out of St-Hyacinthe, Québec, with the flexibility to work remotely. The selected candidate will lead and expand DLF’s presence in the agricultural market through innovative sales strategies, strong customer relationships, and dynamic team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, and effectively implement strategic sales programs to achieve business growth targets in Eastern Quebec.

  • Supervise and motivate a team of sales representatives to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve performance goals.

  • Recruit, coach, and support team members based on the company’s values and principles.

  • Collaborate closely with DLF’s provincial and national teams to coordinate sales and promotional efforts.

  • Monitor market and industry trends to identify new opportunities and emerging markets, developing actionable strategies to expand DLF’s reach and increase revenue.

  • Maintain and nurture strong relationships with current customers, ensuring a top-tier level of client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the seed industry or agricultural inputs (retail, wholesale, or manufacturing).

  • Proven track record in closing sales and achieving growth targets.

  • Leadership experience or demonstrated potential to manage and motivate teams.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ethical, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.

  • Member of the OAQ (Ordre des Agronomes du Québec) is required.

  • Fluency in English and French (bilingual proficiency preferred).
