This role is ideal for an enterprising and self-directed sales professional who is passionate about helping seniors and their families make informed decisions when choosing a retirement residence. The Sales Consultant will play a vital role in driving occupancy, achieving sales targets, and building meaningful connections with the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize Chartwell’s consultative sales process to guide seniors and their families in selecting a retirement residence.

  • Manage telephone inquiries and convert them into personal visit bookings.

  • Conduct personalized tours, follow up on leads, and close sales through lease signings.

  • Track and analyze sales activity using the CRM database to identify trends.

  • Develop and implement marketing plans and events to generate qualified leads and drive referrals.

  • Build, retain, and expand a network of strategic partnerships within the local healthcare and community sectors.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record in consultative sales with strong closing skills.

  • Exceptional communication, networking, and customer service skills with a caring and empathetic approach.

  • Knowledge of the local area and access to a vehicle with a valid provincial driver’s license.

  • Proficiency in computer software relevant to sales and marketing activities.

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
