Job Duties Include
- Ensuring all inbound phone calls directed to the Reservations line are answered in a prompt and professional manner and that all standards are met.
- Managing multiple high volume mailboxes for our Tour & FIT segment and Transient segments ensuring responses are delivered in a timely and professional manner.
- Providing our guests with a personalized experience by helping the guests select the best room and rate option to suit their vacation needs.
- Responsible for ensuring that the information on the reservations is set up accurately and look for ways to enhance the guest experience while adhering to all GDPR privacy standards.
- Reviewing all reservations made on the previous date to ensure they are accurate and all pertinent information is noted.
- Actively promote the Accor Live Limitless loyalty program and the benefits of membership.
- Act as an ambassador for our guests, the hotel and community.
- General office work, i.e. photocopying, filing, faxing, etc.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in hotel reservations systems (Opera) and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of hotel and local area an asset
- Strong analytical skills as well as ability to make decisions independently is essential
