Research Technical Assistant

 

Description:

We are seeking a Research Technical Assistant to support the activities of several ongoing research projects within Dr. Racine's Pragmatic Health Ethics Research Unit.

Main Responsibilities

- Manage communications (website, social media, newsletter);
- Support the organization of research activities and projects;
- Provide technical assistance in the preparation of scientific content (oral and written) for various target audiences;
- Perform any other related duties as required.

Requirements

- Technical college diploma (DEC) in social sciences or in a field deemed relevant;
- Interest in conducting research in health ethics;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (French and English);
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management;
- Experience working within an interdisciplinary team (an asset);
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Working Conditions

- 12-month contract, with possibility of renewal;
- Variable schedule ranging from 15 to 36.25 hours per week, depending on laboratory needs;
