Research Nurse

Description:

The Montreal Children’s Hospital is seeking Clinical Research Nurses to join its on-call pool at the Centre for Innovative Medicine (CMI), part of the McGill University Health Centre Research Institute (IR-CUSM). These nurses will support clinical research trials, including work outside regular business hours. The role includes evaluating patient health, planning and prioritizing care, administering treatments, monitoring effects, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, communicating with patients, families, and colleagues, and performing other tasks as assigned.

The position requires fluency in French and English, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently or in a team, current CPR certification, organizational and leadership abilities, and a commitment to promoting health and safety. Education requirements include a Collège diploma (DEC) in nursing and membership in the OIIQ.
