Registered Occupational Therapist

Grit Psychology & Counselling is seeking a Registered Occupational Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team on a part-time, hybrid basis. This role can be based in any of their Alberta offices—Airdrie, Calgary, or Red Deer. The position focuses on providing evidence-based, compassionate, and functional therapy services to a diverse client base including individuals undergoing rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to client needs

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and evaluations

• Deliver effective rehabilitation programs with measurable outcomes

• Support return-to-work clients and collaborate with WCB case requirements

• Work with clients across various age groups and functional backgrounds

• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment and progress

• Liaise with medical professionals and internal team members for integrated care

• Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding treatment goals and progress

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed and in good standing as a Registered Occupational Therapist

• Proficiency in occupational therapy treatment and rehabilitation

• Experience working with WCB and return-to-work services

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Knowledge of relevant medical concepts and practices

• Ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment

• High level of empathy, professionalism, and client-centered approach
