Buildingexpert is a leader in energy efficiency consulting, helping homeowners, builders, and organizations improve energy performance. As part of their expansion in New Brunswick, they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Energy Advisor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site energy evaluations of residential buildings using diagnostic tools and specialized software, including blower door tests.

  • Generate detailed energy efficiency reports and recommend cost-effective energy upgrades.

  • Assist homeowners and builders in accessing energy efficiency programs, rebates, and grants.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver expert energy consulting services.

  • Keep current with industry trends, building codes, and best practices related to energy efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Energy Advisor (REA) certification through Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) preferred but not mandatory.

  • Experience conducting home energy assessments and familiarity with HOT2000 software is an asset.

  • Basic understanding of building science, energy efficiency principles, and HVAC systems.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel to client sites.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assessments efficiently.
