Description:

  • Organizational Effectiveness:
    • Analyze, recommend, and implement 3rd party leadership talent assessment and development tools
    • Evaluate Leadership Development Program initiatives to ensure effectiveness
    • Identify organizational development and learning deficiencies and research/source appropriate solutions (vendors) that will target identified deficiencies
  • Employee Engagement:
    • Maintain, and review the employee recognition programs through 3rd party platforms, in-person events and recognition celebrations, and provide improvement recommendations
    • Recommend and execute employee initiatives such as wellness & fitness, corporate social responsibility, and perk programs
  • Recruitment Marketing
    • Recommend and implement talent acquisition marketing strategies that optimize applicant quality and budgets (e.g., job advertising, career site, email campaigns, career fairs/hiring events, and candidate pipeline initiatives
    • Create, analyze and/or maintain metrics, reports, systems, tools to evaluate the effectiveness of projects and initiatives to maximize results
  • Miscellaneous
    • Create and maintain HR resources and documentation on the Canon Canada intranet site
    • Participate in various human resources and corporate projects and/or committees as assigned


To Succeed, You Will Have:

  • Post-secondary education, ideally in Human Resources
  • CHRP is an asset
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Strong time and project management skills
  • Good communication skills
