Quality Engineering Internship

The Quality Engineering - Machining Co-op at INNIO Group is an exciting opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment. The selected candidate will work closely with the Quality team to support production operations and develop key quality processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and improving processes related to Return to Vendor and MRB Cage, establishing both physical and systematic workflows and documentation.

• Learning and applying Oracle to establish, improve, and implement new supplier quality processes.

• Creating and supporting reporting and analysis in Oracle, including daily status reports, return to vendor tracking, inspections, and inventory monitoring.

• Supporting the non-conformance process through follow-ups with suppliers and operations teams.

• Assisting with ad hoc incoming inspections and developing associated reporting and workflows.

• Contributing to the development and implementation of best practice warehouse strategies, processes, and procedures to enhance operational performance.

• Developing action plans to optimize material storage processes and improve efficiency.

• Conducting audits on material storage locations to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Analyzing stored data regarding material control to create detailed reports and spreadsheets.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.

• Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems.

• Strong multitasking abilities with the capacity to deliver key objectives within established timelines.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
