Project Manager

Description:

The Marais de la Rivière-aux-Cerises (LAMRAC), a renowned nature reserve and interpretation center, is looking for a Chargé de projet aux programmes éducatifs (Project Manager – Educational Programs) to design and implement engaging, science-based educational tools for youth groups visiting the Marais. This role is a unique opportunity to combine creativity, pedagogy, and environmental awareness in a serene natural setting while contributing to the development of future generations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop educational kits and pedagogical tools adapted to different school levels (preschool, elementary, and high school).

• Validate the needs of teachers, educators, and students in line with established partnerships.

• Define clear pedagogical objectives for each educational resource.

• Review, adapt, and enrich existing themes while creating new learning activities.

• Ensure pedagogical consistency in collaboration with schools and alignment with LAMRAC’s educational policy.

• Guarantee scientific accuracy of all educational content.

• Coordinate with pedagogues, graphic designers, illustrators, and other contributors to develop high-quality materials.

• Establish and follow detailed project timelines to ensure successful delivery.

• Support broader educational programming as needed and perform related tasks.

Requirements:

• College diploma in Biology, Ecology, Education, Environment, Leisure Studies, or a related field.

• 1–2 years of experience in designing educational activities or pedagogical resources.

• Experience in facilitating activities for school groups, day camps, or families (asset).

• Knowledge of wetland ecosystems, fauna, and flora (asset).

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Google tools, and Windows environment.

• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.

Benefits & Work Conditions:

• Competitive hourly salary: CAD 20.23 – 26.55 depending on experience.

• 32 hours per week (full-time).

• Contract duration: November 24, 2025 – June 19, 2026 (30 weeks, with possibility of extension).
