Project Manager

Description:

Cytiva, a leading life sciences company under Danaher Corporation, is seeking a Project Manager for a full-time, on-site role in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing client-facing development projects within pre-clinical and formulation development domains. This role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle from planning and design to execution and monitoring, while ensuring alignment with project timelines, costs, and deliverables.

As a key member of the Biopharmaceutical Operations team, the Project Manager will report to the Services Business Operations Manager and interact directly with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project planning, scoping, and team meetings for assigned client development projects.

• Monitor execution and progress, including budgeting, risk tracking, and change management.

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop project documentation such as Project Charters, RACI Matrices, Gantt charts, dashboards, and client reports.

• Participate in project financial forecasting and reporting in partnership with finance teams.

• Continuously identify and lead internal process improvement initiatives in alignment with Danaher Business System (DBS) standards.

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Life Sciences degree strongly preferred).

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in project management within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.

• Proficiency with project governance tools and financial tracking.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects.

• Skilled in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other project management software.

Highly Desired:

• PMP certification.

• Familiarity with formulation development or drug development project workflows.
