Project Manager

Description:

Flynn Group of Companies, North America's leading trade contractor specializing in exterior building solutions, is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join its Waterproofing division in Ottawa, ON. This role is pivotal to delivering successful construction projects involving roofing, waterproofing, and traffic coating systems. The position involves end-to-end management of project execution and coordination to ensure seamless and efficient delivery in alignment with company standards.

A Day in the Life:

• Provide accurate project forecasting, detailed planning, and lifecycle analysis

• Prepare and manage comprehensive material lists and procurement needs

• Handle takeoffs and generate estimates for change orders as required

• Communicate and collaborate with Site Supervisors and Foremen for issuing and coordinating deliveries, purchase orders, and job materials

• Maintain close attention to project details, timelines, and team coordination

What We Are Seeking:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in general project management or construction

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proven dependability and ability to follow through on directions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong understanding of construction drawings and plans

• Detail-oriented with solid organizational abilities

• Effective team player with a collaborative work ethic

• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset due to project locations across Ontario/Quebec

• Added value for candidates with experience in below-grade waterproofing, traffic coatings, and spray insulation products
