Project Manager

Description:

Hays has partnered with a growing company in the Greater Toronto Area that specializes in restoration, emergency mitigation, and general construction services. This company is looking for a Project Manager (Jr) to join their team, specifically focused on Core Restoration projects in the Hamilton region.

The Project Manager will report directly to the Operations Manager and will be responsible for overseeing emergency mitigation and construction projects, including both residential and commercial projects. They will manage the entire project lifecycle, from estimation through to completion, and will ensure that all projects meet profitability goals. The role involves interacting with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring job costs, and maintaining communication with contractors to address requirements and safety concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee emergency mitigation and construction projects for residential and commercial properties

• Ensure project profitability by monitoring job costs and making adjustments as needed

• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to meet project requirements and ensure safety compliance

• Manage estimation through to project completion, including budgeting and scheduling

• Use Xactimate and MS applications for project management, budgeting, and reporting

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external contractors

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 2 years of project management or coordinator experience within the insurance restoration industry

• Strong estimation skills, including budgeting and monitoring job costs

• Proficient with Xactimate and MS Applications

• Excellent communication skills for working with internal teams and external contractors

• Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and safety protocols
