Project Manager

Description:

A stable, well-established Edmonton general contractor is hiring a Project Manager to take ownership of ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) project delivery.

Low turnover, steady project pipeline: this is a place people tend to stay.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage assigned projects from preconstruction through close-out
• Build and maintain project budgets, schedules, and procurement plans
• Direct site teams to keep projects moving safely and on track
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Handle contracts, change orders, and subcontract agreements
• Watch for risk and deal with issues before they escalate
• Keep projects on time and on budget, full stop

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• 5+ years of project management experience in ICI construction
• Comfortable owning a budget and a schedule without hand-holding
• Solid communicator, especially under pressure
• Construction Management, Engineering, or related education
• Gold Seal certification is a nice-to-have
