Product Lead

Description:

Calgary, AB or remotely across Canada.

• Manage product supply levels and establish/allocate safety stocks
• Develop short & long term marketing plans and product forecasts (sales, volumes & profit contribution)
• Contribute to Global and Regional product strategy development as a member of the product leadership team
• Lead the development of product strategies, from acquisition and development, through post patent and exit
• Direct and approve product developments, including new AI's, formulation, packaging, label enhancements, to ensure maximum impact in marketplace

Qualifications
B.S. degree in Agriculture, Marketing, Business Administration or related discipline with 5+ years previous Marketing and/or Sales experience

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in the crop protection industry
• Keen understanding of agriculture, marketplace dynamics and customer needs
• Knowledge of marketing principles - positioning, market & financial analysis, communications
• Broad knowledge of product development process, regulatory requirements, production & logistical systems
• Knowledge of the seed industry
• Experience in a role requiring strong strategic analysis and decision making
