Private Client Services Associate

Description:

Fiduciary Trust Canada, backed by Franklin Templeton, is looking to expand its Client Engagement team with a Private Client Services Associate (PCSA). The role will involve collaborating with various teams to deliver world-class service to high-net-worth clients across Canada. The PCSA will be responsible for day-to-day administration of client relationships, including handling proposals, account openings, coordinating meetings, responding to inquiries, and assisting with trade/account management. The ideal candidate will be client-focused, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to develop efficiencies to improve client services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Service: Assist with proposals, account openings, client meetings, and proactive service activities. Respond to client inquiries professionally and efficiently.

• Team Support: Support Associate Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Managers with daily tasks, initiatives, and projects.

• Process Improvement: Provide insights to enhance client experiences and develop process efficiencies.

• Trade/Account Management: Handle account setup, fee and performance reporting, trade submissions, and compliance requirements.

• Sales Support: Coordinate sales meetings, prepare presentations, and create sales materials.

Ideal Qualifications:

• University or College degree or equivalent financial services experience.

• 2-6 years of experience in financial services (mutual fund, banking, wealth management, securities industry).

• Canadian Securities Course (CSC) preferred.

• Bilingual (English/French) is a plus.

• Strong communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, and written).

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Strong multitasking abilities and proactive approach.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with a positive mindset.
