• Changes and developments in domestic accounting standards, including Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Accounting Standards for Not-for-Profit Organizations (ASNPO), and the impact of such changes on Canadian stakeholders
• Changes and developments in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and the impact of such changes on Canadian public companies
• Canadian public company regulatory reporting, including quarterly and annual financial statements, management’s discussion and analysis, and additional financial reports required to comply with securities legislation
• Global audit quality trends and developments related to the value of the audit as well as business trends and capital market developments, including but not limited to environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters and technological advances (e.g., blockchain, cryptocurrencies).
