Description:

Interpro Pipe & Steel is seeking a Picker to join their team at Regina, SK. The Picker is responsible for sorting various materials from a moving conveyor, assisting shredder mechanics, and helping maintain a clean and safe work environment. This role supports monthly production goals and contributes to the smooth operation of recycling processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick and sort materials from a moving conveyor

• Assist shredder mechanics with projects, conveyor maintenance, bearing replacements, and greasing

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and keep conveyor pulleys clean

• Report any operational issues immediately

• Contribute to meeting monthly production goals

• Perform other assigned duties as required

Qualifications & Skills:

• Completion of High School or equivalent

• Reliable transportation is required

• Ability to meet physical demands: standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds

• Able to work in variable weather conditions and environments with dust, odors, fumes, and noise

• Mechanically inclined with ability to follow directions

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
