Description:
Trekker Auto, a company specializing in high-quality vehicle accessories, is seeking a Physical Product Designer to join their growing team. This dynamic role involves participating in the entire product lifecycle—from initial concept to mass production—across both client-specific and proprietary product lines.
As a designer, you will work closely with teams across design, supply chain, and manufacturing to ensure that products meet both aesthetic and functional expectations. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, develop, and refine new automotive product designs.
Manage the end-to-end product development process, from concept sketches and prototyping to production.
Perform market and competitor analysis to discover opportunities for innovation.
Ensure all designs align with automotive standards, regulations, and quality benchmarks.
Create technical documentation such as specifications, testing procedures, and design guidelines.
Stay updated on emerging tools, technologies, and trends in automotive design.
Requirements:
Background in Engineering or Industrial Design
Proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360
Understanding of various manufacturing processes
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
