Description:
Performance Tester
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid, 4 days onsite in a week)
- 6+ years of performance engineering experience
- Advanced JMeter proficiency and hybrid Java automation test suite expertise
- Strong Java coding skills with robust software engineering practices
- Translate non-functional requirements from stakeholders (dev, business, product teams)
- Design and build automated performance testing pipelines integrated with CI/CD for applications with Message Queue (MQ) systems, SFTP, and API applications
- Mainframe application performance testing exposure is good to have
- Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks in the applications
- Working knowledge of DB2 SQL and query optimization techniques
- Practical experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot )
- AI mindset: Proactive adoption of AI tools and technologies to streamline testing processes, accelerate script development, and drive continuous improvement in QA workflows
