Netcool Integration & Monitoring Specialist

Location – Brampton, ON (100% onsite)

Job Description:

Experience in Alarm integration (SNMP and Message Bus probes/rulesfile).

Integration of platforms which were cutting ticket directly to ticketing platform bypassing Fault Management.

Main tasks are:

• Provide weekly progress report
• Perform the required rulesfile integration work in non-prod environment
• Perform the required message bus parsing in non-prod environment
• Respect the OSS Fault Management alarm integration standard
• Test and validate with stakeholders
• Correct all bugs highlighted during validation and adjust rules files from stakeholders’ feedback
• Have a peer review of final solution and associated rules with OSS Fault Management prime
• Deploy in production as per client’s change enablement process
• Provide a warranty period to ensure the quality of the solution
• Document the solution.

Requirements:

• 5 Years of experience working on Netcool.
• Fully autonomous in developing solution on Netcool platform.
• Working level expertise of Linux RedHat.
• Expertise in building rulesfile.
• Expertise in installing and configuring message bus probes.
