Moderator Of Online Debate Platform

Description:

We are looking for a Community Debate Moderator to help maintain high-quality discussions and support our growing community. This is a very part-time, flexible role, ideal for students or coaches who want to stay involved in debate without a heavy time commitment.

This is not a content policing role. It is a community leadership role for people who understand debate culture and enjoy helping others think better.

What You’ll Do

• Moderate online debates and discussion threads
• Encourage thoughtful, respectful, and well-structured exchanges
• Welcome and guide new debaters with practical tips and feedback
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and intellectually serious community
• Occasionally highlight strong arguments, insightful contributions, or fun debates
• Contribute ideas to improve debate quality and community engagement

Who This Is For (Required)

This role is only for people currently active in competitive debate, including:

• High school or university debaters
• Debate team captains or coaches
• Members of formal debate circuits or clubs
