Equinox Gold Corp., a leading mining company with operations across the Americas, is seeking a Mill Maintenance Millwright to join its Greenstone Mine team in Geraldton, Ontario. The Greenstone Mine, one of Canada's largest open-pit gold mines, commenced production in May 2024 and is expected to produce nearly 400,000 ounces of gold annually over a 14-year mine life, with potential for expansion.

This role is ideal for a skilled millwright with hands-on experience in mining maintenance, equipment repair, and preventative maintenance planning. The position operates on a rotational basis (14 days on, 14 days off) and offers opportunities to contribute to a high-performance team in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance for mining equipment and mill machinery.

• Repair, service, rebuild, and overhaul machinery and stationary equipment.

• Support development and implementation of preventative maintenance schedules.

• Troubleshoot production issues and take corrective action as needed.

• Install, modify, and maintain mechanical systems and piping.

• Perform operational equipment checks and prepare maintenance reports.

• Conduct hot work, including cutting and welding, as required.

• Operate mobile equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

• Collaborate with planning teams and shop personnel to meet maintenance goals.

• Follow strict health, safety, and environmental protection policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Journeyperson trade certificate in Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Industrial Mechanic/Millwright.

• 5+ years of professional work experience (minimum 2 years in a mine setting).

• Dual trade designation/certification considered an asset.

• Strong commitment to safety and ability to work in challenging environments, including at heights and in inclement weather.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
