🚨 Junior Technical Staff Opportunity – Ontario

We are looking for Junior Technical Staff to support project scoping, planning, execution, and closeout within a project engineering environment. This role involves coordinating with project managers, engineering teams, vendors, and construction contractors to support project delivery, stakeholder requirements, and compliance with applicable procedures.

What youll be doing:
⚡ Assist Project Managers with project scoping, planning, execution, coordination, and closeout activities.
⚡ Support engineering design changes, clarify technical requirements, and follow the Engineering Change Control (ECC) process.
⚡ Help prepare project specifications, bid packages, tender evaluations, purchasing recommendations, and decision documents.
⚡ Coordinate with construction contractors to monitor schedules, project progress, budgets, risks, and execution readiness.
⚡ Support vendor proposal evaluations, contract administration, payments, change orders, and recommendations for contract awards.
⚡ Assist with project reporting, progress meetings, safety coordination, construction documentation, and compliance with corporate and site procedures.

What were looking for:
✔️ Minimum 2–3 years of relevant project engineering experience, ideally within a nuclear projects and engineering environment.
✔️ Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, manage working relationships, and support project objectives.
✔️ Strong interest in developing verbal communication skills, leading meetings, delivering presentations, and interfacing with vendors.
✔️ Basic understanding of project governance, procedures, and engineering change control, with a questioning and analytical approach.
✔️ Knowledge of or experience working with station operations, scheduling, and work control processes.
✔️ Willingness to become a Nuclear Energy Worker and work toward obtaining the Modification Team Leader (MTL) Qualification (QUAL 42293).
