Material Handler

Description:

Comply with all safe work practices, policies, and act is a safe manner at all times to ensure the Health and Safety of the work environment;

Use specialized equipment to process waste materials for disposal;

Sort waste materials;

General equipment and shop clean-up and maintenance

Maintain daily logs, worksheets, timecards

Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day;

Work as part of a team with customers, coworkers and supervisors

QUALIFICATIONS

Entry level position – no experience needed, we will provide training

Regulatory safety tickets are considered an asset (e.g. First Aid with CPR, H2S, Confined Space Entry);

Ability to perform heavy lifting repeatedly;

Maintain clean work space;

Ability to work with minimal supervision, in a team and in a safety focused environment;

Ability to work outside in various weather conditions for extended periods of time;
